Pattern and Texture Reflection
1)Which image may be overexposed? (too bright) Why?
The image that may be over exposed is the one with the brick pillars especially the background.
I think that it is overexposed because the pillars are in the shade and the background is in the sun.
2)Which area/areas is/are too bright?
Other than the background in the photo with the pillars there isn't another photo with areas that are to bright.
3)Which image is underexposed? (too dark)
I believe that the photo of the chair (the squares) is to underexposed because of the shadow made by the table.
4)Which area/areas is/are too dark?
Most of the chair is underexposed because of the shadow made by the chair.
5)Which image is the best example of a properly exposed photo? Explain why.
I think that the photo with the best exposer is the brick wall. I think this because it was all in the shade and there was no areas of sunlight peeking through.
Best Image- Fourth
What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?)
The first pillar was only a couple of feet away, the second one was 4-5 feet away.
What was your point of view when you took the photos? (from above, below, straight on...)
I was at an angle so I could get both pillars in the shot.
Is your photograph horizontal or vertical?
Horizontal.
Does this photo follow the rule of thirds? Why or why not? (Describe).
I think that this photo does follow the rule of thirds because the horizon falls straight with the rest of the picture.
Is this photo an example of pattern, texture and/or rhythm? Explain.
Yes because the pillars, fence, and bricks are a pattern and you can kind of see the texture of the white brick.
